Review and Content Policy

Version: owner-approved-2026-08-27-v8

Effective date: Upon publication

Status: OWNER-APPROVED 2026-08-27 (AI-assisted review; no attorney review of this version)

1. Scope

This Policy applies to reviews, ratings, Vendor replies, reports, appeals, listing content, messages, issue content, images, and other material submitted to The Vendor Lineup. It supplements the Marketplace Customer Terms and Vendor Agreement.

2. Verified review eligibility

Only a verified Customer associated with an eligible completed Booking may submit a review. Each eligible Booking permits one review containing a rating from 1 to 5 and a comment from 10 to 500 characters. A Customer may make one edit within 14 days after submission.

The Vendor may submit one reply within 30 days after the review. If the Customer uses the permitted edit, the Vendor may revise its reply once. Reviews and replies identify their appropriate public role but do not expose private account, payment, or Booking identifiers.

3. Content standards

Content must be truthful, relevant to the Booking or Platform use, based on the submitter's own experience, and written without deception or manipulation. Do not submit content that:

  • is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or exploitative;
  • includes private addresses, contact details, payment data, government identifiers, health details, or other unnecessary sensitive information;
  • is fraudulent, defamatory, misleading, impersonating, or unrelated to the transaction;
  • infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • includes malware, spam, solicitation, undisclosed advertising, or instructions to evade Platform fees or safety controls;
  • rewards, coerces, or retaliates over a favorable or unfavorable review; or
  • interferes with an investigation, moderation record, or another person's lawful rights.

4. Reports and appeals

An eligible Customer or Vendor may report review content through the supported flow and provide a concise reason. An authorized Platform operator may keep the review visible, remove it, request information, or take another action consistent with this Policy and law.

The reporting party may submit one appeal of the initial moderation decision when the Platform offers that control. Appeals are reviewed by an authorized operator and may be granted or denied. Private reports, appeal reasons, operator notes, and evidence are not public, although the resulting visibility decision may be apparent.

5. Moderation

M2 AI, LLC may review, restrict, remove, restore, label, or preserve content; suspend related controls; or take account action when reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy, protect users, respond to legal process, or preserve Platform integrity. Moderation may consider the content, Booking records, revisions, reports, messages, safety information, and applicable law.

We do not promise to pre-screen all content or verify every factual statement. Visibility does not mean endorsement, and removal does not decide the parties' underlying legal rights. We may preserve removed content and moderation history for safety, audit, dispute, and legal purposes.

6. License and ownership

Submitters retain ownership of their content and represent that they have the rights needed to submit it. They grant M2 AI, LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, moderate, and use the content as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and promote the Platform. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for backups, transaction/audit records, legal retention, de-identified use, and material already lawfully distributed.

7. No retaliation or manipulation

Vendors may not withhold contracted service, threaten a Customer, provide undisclosed consideration for favorable content, or condition a remedy on changing or removing a truthful review. Customers may not threaten a false negative review to obtain money or service beyond their rights. Coordinated, duplicate, fabricated, self-authored, or purchased reviews are prohibited.

8. Contact

Use the supported report/appeal controls for a review. For a legal or privacy concern that cannot be submitted there, contact hello@vendorlineup.com. A report does not guarantee removal or waive any deadline or legal right.
